UAE Expands AI Investment as Abu Dhabi Strengthens Digital Finance Ecosystem

The UAE is accelerating investment in artificial intelligence as the technology transforms global finance, banking and investment management.

The UAE Ministry of Investment will join international investors, financial institutions and financial technology companies at Ai Everything Abu Dhabi 2026, taking place on 6 and 7 October at ADNEC Centre.

Abu Dhabi Global Market is investing more than AED 400 million through 2029 to expand its artificial intelligence capabilities, strengthen digital infrastructure and modernise regulatory and operational systems.

The financial ecosystem within ADGM now includes 190 fund and asset managers overseeing 276 funds, reflecting Abu Dhabi’s growing position as an international financial and investment centre.

The UAE’s wider strategy aims to attract investment while also building AI companies, expanding local capabilities, creating specialised employment and applying artificial intelligence across important economic sectors.

The development of secure digital infrastructure will be essential as banks and financial institutions adopt AI for investment analysis, portfolio risk, market research, regulatory compliance and customer services.

This continued investment highlights the UAE’s commitment to technology, innovation and long term economic growth. It also creates opportunities for businesses providing technology, infrastructure, workforce, project support and specialised operational services.

Seven Seas Group continues to follow developments across technology, finance and emerging industries as the UAE strengthens its position as an international centre for investment and innovation.
