KEZAD to Develop Smart Logistics Facility in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi continues to strengthen its position as a global logistics and trade hub through a major new development in Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi.

KEZAD Group has signed an agreement with JINGDONG Property, the infrastructure investment and asset management division of JD.com, to establish an advanced logistics facility in KEZAD Al Ma’mourah.

The development will include approximately 150,000 square metres of warehousing facilities and is expected to be delivered in 2028. It will incorporate automated warehousing systems, digital operations technology and sustainable building practices.

The facility is designed to improve supply chain efficiency and support businesses operating across logistics, manufacturing, retail and distribution. Once operational, it is expected to create approximately 1,000 direct jobs, along with additional employment opportunities across transportation, manufacturing and support services.

This investment reflects Abu Dhabi’s continued focus on industrial infrastructure, technology and international trade connectivity. Developments of this scale also create opportunities for workforce solutions, project support, transportation and specialised business services.
